Vashti Cunningham makes the U.S. Track and Field Olympic in the High Jump. In 2015 she was in the 17-18 Year Old Girls High Jump at the Club Championships in Orlando. Vashti from  Nevada Gazelles won with a jump of 6-3 (1.90m).  Her mark was the 6th best in the world and would have won the 2015 NCAA Women's High Jump.

 Kendall Williams who ran for The Heat Track Club and then the Georgia Bulldogs finished 3rd in the Heptathlon at the U.S. Olympic Trails and will be traveling to Rio as part of the U.S. Track and Field team.  She holds 4 records at the Club Championships.  14 Girls 100m Hurdles (14.37) in 2009, 14 Girls 200m Hurdles (26.79) in 2009, 15-16 Girls 100m Hurdles (13.67) in 2011, and 15-16 Girls Long Jump (19-6.75) in 2010.

Jared Lockart, Winston Salem Roadrunners, breaks his brother’s 9 year old boys triathlon record from 2012 with a point total of 750 points. His brother’s old record was 658 points. His brother, Jaden will be competing in the 13 year old Pentathlon on Monday.  Jared  Lockhart has two meet records.  He broke the 9 year old Turbo Javelin record with a mark of  91-11.

Jahnelle Saunders, Va. Elite TC wins the 13 year old girls High Jump (5-6) and Pentathlon (3284). She also places 2nd in the Long Jump with a mark of 18-5.25 which was a tie for the record. She wins the 100 hurdles for her third title of the week with a time of 15.08.

Tyrese Cooper, Miami Gardens Xpress, 20.66 time betters his 2016 time of the year and is the third fastest HS time in the Country.  He has a wind-aided mark of 20.46

Tyrese Cooper has broken the 100 meters record in the prelims also with a time of 10.63.

Tyrese Cooper gets his third record of the prelims with his 46.14 time in the 15-16 boys 400 meters.

Damira Allen, Chester Cheetahs a double winner in the 8 and under girls 800 meters (2:35.90) and 1500 meters (5:20.81).  Both are meet records. She now has three meet records with you win in the 400 meters (1:05.66).

It’s all in the family.  The Drumwright’s have had a very successful week at Club Championships with three children winning National Titles.

Aaron Drumwright 1st in the 12 year old boys 1500m (4:45.26). Also 3rd in the 800m (2:23.44)

Andrew Drumwright 1st in the 12 year old boys 3000m (10:06.50). Also 3rd in the 1500m (4:53.96).

 Johntavia Shaw, Unattached set her second record of the week.  She broke the 13 year old girls Discus record earlier this week with a record throw of 113-6 and now has the 13 year old girls Shot Put record with a throw of 40-8.

Elija Goodwin, Elite Speed a 17-18 year old man sets his second record of the prelims with his 46.47 400 meters and his 21.02 in the 200 meters.

Teoana Banton wins 12 year old girls 100 (12.62), and 400 (57.16).
